GRA Team Member

Description:

The GRA Team Member will be handling the first touch point of the application process between the agency and the applicants seeking assistance through the Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Program. The GRA Team Member will evaluate the eligibility of people who have submitted applications for assistance for rental assistance. The candidate is expected to be a goal-oriented individual who can demonstrate their ability to meet established productivity goals daily. Some of the key functions that will be expected of the person hired for this position are as follows:

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Ability to interpret and follow the U.S. Treasury federal regulations, guidelines, and internal policies
Accessing and using the online application portal to review applications
Reporting any issues related to the work of processing to their supervisor
Knowledge of, and experience with, federal funding mechanisms
Strong organizational skills
Strong oral skills to include written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Ability to use independent judgment and discretion in working through situations and people, and resolving problems
Strong computer skills
Ability to demonstrate independent thinking

Minimum Qualifications:

One (1) year of experience directly related to working as a processor with similar emergency funding
OR
One (1) year of direct professional experience related to the relevant duties described for this position.



Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants who in addition to meeting the agency specific minimum qualifications possess at least one of the following:

Proven experience with achieving success on complex projects.
Proven experience working with projects where clearly stated expectations and objectives were required.
Experience as a Processor where they were responsible for accurately managing application documentation through an established portal system and reviewing it to ensure completeness and compliance with established regulations and policies.
Bilingual in the following languages; Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese
College Degree
