This position provides administrative support for operations.
Collects information regarding applications to the RN-BSN Bridge Program and compiles it into student files
Maintains student and department files
Maintains office supply inventory
Answers telephone and greets visitors; provides information and assistance; directs to appropriate personnel
Researches possible donors for development through grants and donations
Assists in gathering information for publications and advertisements
Assists with orientation and graduation events
Performs related duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:
Knowledge of policies and procedures, modern office practices and procedures, computers and job-related software programs
Skills in the provision of customer services
Skills in oral and written communication
The director assigns work in terms of general instructions. The director spot-checks completed work for compliance with procedures, accuracy, and the nature and propriety of the final results.
Guidelines include the employee handbook. These guidelines are generally clear and specific, but may require some interpretation in application.
